Local Governments
ICLEI's European Secretariat offers individual services to local governments on their way towards local sustainability.
ICLEI's consultants can accompany your city in each of the steps of the Sustainability Cycle: From finding the right indicators for your Baseline Review to organising adequate and effective participation of local stakeholders in the Target Setting process.
We don't work with standard approaches. Together with you, we identify what's the best next step for your city, based on the processes, tools and systems you have estalished already.
National and Regional Organisations
ICLEI co-operates with national and regional organisations such as ministries, local government associations and networks, and public or private agencies, in developing programmes to support local sustainability in their respective country or region.
Each place in Europe has its own special history and framework conditions. Together with you, we design the best training programme for your country's or region's local governments, develop award schemes and campaigns, and prepare reports.
